Youth Group assists in sorting at St. Paul's distribution center
A Youth group from Green Valley Church of God in St. Albans participated in a service project at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Nell Fleming, Librarian, to organize all remaining donations from 2008/2009. In 2 hours the group from St. Albans, consisting of 15 youth and five adults built five book shelves and organized 95% of the books alphabetically and by genre on the shelves. Nell estimates the group did three months worth of work in 2 hours for Step by Step which will enable the new librarian who will start in January to get a head start in re-distribution with new wish lists received from teachers, youth and organizations which serve youth at poverty level.
